Mountains to Fjords Quest

Discover the Beauty of Lapland and Norway in One Epic Ride

From Lapland’s endless white fells to Norway’s majestic Arctic fjords, this 5-day Mountains to Fjords Quest takes you on an unforgettable snowmobile adventure through two of the North’s most breathtaking regions.

Travel across treeless tundra, high mountain passes, and coastal valleys, where frozen silence meets the roar of the sea. This is the Arctic at its most spectacular: raw, remote, and endlessly beautiful.

Into the Mountains

Hetta to Kilpisjärvi

Set out toward Kilpisjärvi, one of Lapland’s most iconic Arctic regions.

Here, the forest gives way to treeless tundra, where fells rise like white islands above the vast snow plains. The scenery feels almost otherworldly: crisp, open, and silent.
Arrive in Kilpisjärvi, where you’ll stay overnight with modern comfort in the heart of the Arctic mountains.

Touching the Sea

Kilpisjärvi → Norwegian Fjords → Kilpisjärvi

Today’s ride takes you across the Finnish-Norwegian border, descending from the mountains to the spectacular fjords of Northern Norway.

Watch as the landscape transforms, from white wilderness to cliffs, frozen waterfalls, and deep-blue coastal inlets.

After reaching the fjords, return to Kilpisjärvi for a warm dinner and a cosy Arctic night.

Optional Add-On:
Extend your journey to Tromsø, the vibrant Arctic city by the sea.
Travel by service car from the fjords, stay overnight, and enjoy a guided visit of this remarkable northern hub. Famous for its Arctic history, restaurants, and coastal beauty.
(Price on request. Service car and overnight stay required.)

The Return Ride

Kilpisjärvi to Hetta

Retrace your route through wide-open snowfields and frozen lakes.

With fresh eyes, the Arctic landscape reveals new shades of light and snow: a photographer’s dream.
