Day 1, ###
Into the Western Wilderness

Levi to Hetta

Depart from Levi, one of Lapland’s most iconic winter destinations, and head deep into the Arctic backcountry.
Ride westward through snowy forests and frozen lakes toward Hetta, a peaceful Sámi village and the gateway to Finland’s western wilderness.

Enjoy your first night in a quaint lodge, surrounded by silence and starlit skies.

Gateway to the Arctic Mountains

Hetta to Kilpisjärvi

Continue your journey toward Kilpisjärvi, a place of breathtaking, treeless tundra and wide-open snow plains. This area, near Finland’s highest fells, offers stunning vistas and some of the purest air in the world.

Arrive at the Santa Claus Hotel Kilpisjärvi, your base for the night, and relax with good food and warm hospitality beneath the Northern Lights.

Across the Border into Sweden

Kilpisjärvi to Kiruna

Today, cross into Sweden and follow trails through majestic Arctic mountains and valleys.

Ride through snow-covered wilderness toward Kiruna, the northernmost city in Sweden, known for its rich mining heritage and impressive Arctic landscapes.
Settle into your accommodation and enjoy a well-deserved rest after a day of epic riding.

Optional Experience: Take a day off in Kiruna to explore the world-famous LKAB iron ore mine, one of the largest underground mines in the world.

Day 4, ###km
Through Sweden’s Northern Wilderness

Kiruna to Pajala

Leave the mountains behind and travel southeast through forested Arctic terrain, along remote trails leading toward Pajala, a charming riverside town near the Finnish border.

This stage offers varied terrain, combining smooth forest routes with open stretches of tundra. Enjoy the calm rhythm of Arctic travel and a comfortable evening at your lodge.

The Journey Home

Pajala to Levi 

Ride the final leg of your Arctic adventure, crossing back into Finland.
The trails lead you through peaceful wilderness and snowy fells before returning to Levi, where your journey began.
